Girls on the Run - Girls On The Run Girls on the Run… more than just a running program.
This program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident with a fun curriculum that integrates running into the activity sessions. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based positive youth development program that helps young girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun curriculum which creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run Vision: We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Help Girls Strive to: Recognize their power and responsibility to be intentional in their decision making • Embrace differences and find strength in connectedness • Express joy, optimism, and gratitude through their words, thoughts, and actions • Nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual health • Lead with an open heart and assume positive intent • Stand up for themselves and others This program will be held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 6:00pm for 8 weeks (excluding April vacation week). There will be 16 interactive activities/lessons with trained coaches. Girls will receive personal kits with materials; including a branded shirt, water bottle, reusable mask, and an activity journal. Also included is entrance in to the 5K and a commemorative finisher’s medal and more. Girls on the Run - Girls On The Run Girls on the Run… more than just a running program.
This program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident with a fun curriculum that integrates running into the activity sessions. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based positive youth development program that helps young girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun curriculum which creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run Vision: We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Help Girls Strive to: Recognize their power and responsibility to be intentional in their decision making • Embrace differences and find strength in connectedness • Express joy, optimism, and gratitude through their words, thoughts, and actions • Nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual health • Lead with an open heart and assume positive intent • Stand up for themselves and others This program will be held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 6:00pm for 8 weeks (excluding April vacation week). There will be 16 interactive activities/lessons with trained coaches. Girls will receive personal kits with materials; including a branded shirt, water bottle, reusable mask, and an activity journal. Also included is entrance in to the 5K and a commemorative finisher’s medal and more. Artistic Gardening - Artistic Gardening Every week we will have a creative project that involves live plants or creating a structure for planting Week one, we will crate a hanging planter and paint our pot for a trailing plant, week two we will create a living stencil to plant in a garden or patio, week three, we will create wire living sculpture, and the last week, we will create a trellis for climbing plants. If you like to get creative and love to work outside this is the class for you and your family!

Girls on the Run - Girls On The Run Girls on the Run… more than just a running program.
This program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident with a fun curriculum that integrates running into the activity sessions. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based positive youth development program that helps young girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun curriculum which creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run Vision: We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Help Girls Strive to: Recognize their power and responsibility to be intentional in their decision making • Embrace differences and find strength in connectedness • Express joy, optimism, and gratitude through their words, thoughts, and actions • Nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual health • Lead with an open heart and assume positive intent • Stand up for themselves and others This program will be held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 6:00pm for 8 weeks (excluding April vacation week). There will be 16 interactive activities/lessons with trained coaches. Girls will receive personal kits with materials; including a branded shirt, water bottle, reusable mask, and an activity journal. Also included is entrance in to the 5K and a commemorative finisher’s medal and more. Pickleball - Pickleball- Morning Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced game.Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Only equipment needed is a Paddle. Games are pick up games based on the number of players for each day.Morning Group-More Experienced & competitiveRecreational Group- Some experience but more for fun and exercise.Recreational Skilled Group-Ability to move to the ball and proficient enough to keep the ball in play . (New Group added)Evening-Combination.Players are limited to 25 per session. Starcreations Junior -Children's Beauty and the Beast - Starcreations Jr. -Children's Beauty and the Beast Starcreations Theater presents the musical theater workshop "Children's Beauty and the Beast ". This workshop will instruct students on theater, music and dance and will culminate in live performance at the end of the program. Girls on the Run - Girls On The Run Girls on the Run… more than just a running program.
This program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident with a fun curriculum that integrates running into the activity sessions. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based positive youth development program that helps young girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun curriculum which creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run Vision: We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Help Girls Strive to: Recognize their power and responsibility to be intentional in their decision making • Embrace differences and find strength in connectedness • Express joy, optimism, and gratitude through their words, thoughts, and actions • Nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual health • Lead with an open heart and assume positive intent • Stand up for themselves and others This program will be held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 6:00pm for 8 weeks (excluding April vacation week). There will be 16 interactive activities/lessons with trained coaches. Girls will receive personal kits with materials; including a branded shirt, water bottle, reusable mask, and an activity journal. Also included is entrance in to the 5K and a commemorative finisher’s medal and more. Once you have registered on this site, you will also need to register on the Girls on the Run site for t-shirt size information, etc.Girls on the Run Registration Link Registration closes on March 14th, for planning purposes. Scholarships/Financial Aid available. Please contact the Recreation Department directly for more information.Program to be held outside.
