Chess
Come join Mr. McNear and learn how to play chess. Chess is a fun and challenging game for everyone! It teaches strategic thinking, problem- solving, and concentration skills. In this class your child will learn the basics of the game chess, the chess pieces, and the simple rules all while having fun! Bring a snack, drink, and let’s play some chess!

When registering for this program you are also giving Kingston Elementary School permission for your child to be released at dismissal time to the instructor for the program.

If this program needs to be cancelled on the same day of the program you will receive an e-mail blast and a text blast from us - and 'Your child will be sent home according to their default plan unless you notify the school of a different plan change."   

Please make sure you are signed up for these notifications on your Kingston Recreation account.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CURRENT GRADE LEVEL CHOSEN ON THE STUDENTS PROFILE OR THE SYSTEM WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO SIGN UP. SOME PROFILES HAVE THIS INFORMATION BLANK WHICH CAUSES AN ISSUE WITH REGISTRATION. You will need to contact our office to edit your child's profile with the correct grade.
