Summer In A Box - an exciting at-home alternative!
 
General program information below. Kingston Families Only.

What is it?
Summer in a box takes all of the recreation program fun and delivers it to your home! For one family fee per week, you will receive science experiments, arts/crafts, and sports/family activities. Thorough instructions for all activities will be included. To keep the connected feeling to counselors, virtual instructions and live activities will be held on Wednesdays & Thursdays and times will be listed in your instruction sheets. We are so excited to offer an alternative to in-person programming for our Kingston families!


How does it work/ When will I receive my box?
Once a week, KREC staff will deliver a “summer fun package” to your home on Monday morning with that week’s activities.  We hope to see some smiling faces when we deliver - staff are excited to "Doorbell Dash" and then step back and wait to see if someone comes to get the box and wave to the family - making that personal connection that we all appreciate. These boxes are all inclusive, there will be instructions for activities as well as the needed parts and pieces. Registration is for one week at a time and closes the Sunday 8-Days prior to the first day of the session. Each week's "Summer in a Box" contents will be different, so families can register for multiple weeks!



What Activities are in the box?
Each box will include at least one activity to do per day. A box will include science experiments, art projects, and sports & family activities.

DIY Lava Lamps + instructional video

Cloud Dough

DIY Frisbee Golf


Fee is a family fee.  Just register one person in your family for this program.
