Learn to Skate- FMC Ice Sports
Learn to Skate 1-For participants with little or no formal skating instruction. This program introduces participants to the ice in a fun and comfortable learning environment. Skaters must be at least 3 years old and potty trained. A helmet such as a bike or HECC helmet is required.
Rental skates are available and included in the fee.
Teen Adult Learn to Skate-Ages 16 and older are invited to learn to skate or enhance skating skills in a fun and comfortable environment. Classes include group instruction and free time to encourage skaters to learn at their own pace. Skaters will be grouped by age and or ability. A helmet is required such as a bike or HECC helmet. Rental skates are included in the fee.
Learn to Skate
Arrive 15-20 mins. prior to the start of the program.
Be sure to adhere to all pre-requisites and equipment requirements
Wear warm comfortable layers that allow for movement, long sleeves & pants, gloves or mittens are recommended; little ones should wear waterproof items.
You are welcome to bring your own skates although double blade skates are not permitted
Special Events will occur towards the end of a season and may be scheduled on different day or time than original class; free gifts will be distributed after the midpoint of a season
