Summer Playground Program, First Session
Registration open until program is full or June 12th (whichever comes first).
The goal of the Summer Playground Program is to provide your child with an opportunity to make new friends, have fun with old friends, learn new activities and just play... For the Fun Of It.
Playground participants will enjoy outside and inside activities, good old Board Games, activities in the Art Studio, fun energetic entertainers, and some special theme days.... such as Tie Dye day, and Olympic Days.

The information below lists the dates, times and fees for this year's Summer Playground Program.
The Summer Playground Program runs July 6th - August 14th. There will be three 2 week sessions offered during that time frame. You must register separately for each session.

Session 1 (July 6th - July 17th)
July 8th - Tie-Dye Day wear your favorite tie-dye clothing and we will make a shirt too
July 10th - Counselor for a Day
July 13th - Filed Trip TBD; 5th & 6th Grade Only
July 14th - Entertainer – Kindergarten; 1st, & 2nd only
July 16th - Talent Show dress rehearsal
July 17th - Talent Show 9:30-11am (Family/ friends are more than welcome to attend!!!)
Session 2 (July 20th - July 31st)
July 22nd - Olympic Flag Making & Olympic Teams Planning
July 23rd - Olympic Events
July 24th - Other Town Olympic Participation
July 27th - Olympic Closing Ceremonies
July 28th - Entertainer TBD
Session 3 (August 3rd - August 14th)
August 4th - Entertainer: TBD
August 5th - Water Fun Day
August 7th - Field Trip: Alley Kat Bowling; 3rd & 4th grade only
August 10th - Field Trip TBD; 6th Grade Only
August 11th - Counselor for a Day
August 14th - Last Blast!!! (Children who did not attend 3rd session are welcome if they are accompanied by a parent)
- This program is for KINGSTON RESIDENTS only.
- Sibling discount per session.
- Children will participate in arts and crafts, games, sports, nature, and special events.
- Field Trips may be available for some age groups.
- Various activities utilize paint, sand, water, and other material which makes the programs fun, and also messy.
- Sneaker type shoes are required as children do a lot of running and action activities (sandals are not acceptable due to safety reasons).
If a program is specified by grade, it is meant for the 2019-2020 school year - the grade should be the grade they just completed.
